Boarding a pet leads to lots of questions about safety & Health.

We get it! Here at Camp K9, we are all pet owners and understand the concerns when it comes to boarding. We put together some information and answered some basic questions to address these concerns.

How often does my dog go out when boarded?

All boarded dogs go out for a minimum of 15 minutes every 2-3 hoursĀ from 6 am to last let out around 7-730pm.

If your dog is a social butterfly and loves being in group play during their boarding stay they will get to interact with dogs througout the day with no additional charge.

How long are the dogs outside?

During each boarding rotation the dogs are outside for a minimum of 15 minutes. During inclement weather it is until they do their business

How often does my dog get water?

Our campers always have access to clean, fresh water.

Why is my dog so thirty when they come home?

Dogs are provided clean fresh water at all times but there are some that are just too busy to drink. We may need to pull certain dogs to offer them water.

Which vaccines are required for boarding?

Your dog will need to have the following vaccines prior to boarding according to State requirements:

  • rabies
  • distemper
  • bordetella

(Current bordetella must be administered at least a week prior to boarding)

Can I get pictures of my dog(s) while at Camp K9?

We post frequently to our Facebook page and all Campers are provided access to our Camper Cams.

Can I take a tour of Camp K9?

We do not offer tours of the facility because of the stress it puts on our guests.

In addition to the many photos on this website, we frequently post phots to our Facebook page.

If you are interested in boarding your dog at Camp K9, you can schedule a Meet & Greet to visit with your dog.
